Description
Our modernly designed apartment is located in a 4 star villa on the beach/seafront of island Vir. It features a 75 square meter infinity pool with a whirlpool corner and a gorgeous view of the sea, the bay and the surrounding islands..
This modernly designed apartment is airy and luminous. It consists of a kitchen, a living room, two bedroom, a bathroom and two terraces. The kitchen is fully equipped (pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, fridge). Across the way from the kitchen is the dining area with a table and chairs for 6. The kitchen and the dining area open up to the living room with a pull out sofa bed, a flat screen TV with satellite programs and an air-conditioning unit. From the living room the guests can access a furnished terrace with a gorgeous view of the sea and the pool. The first bedroom is equipped with a double bed, nightstands, a built in closet and has access to the second terrace. The second bedroom is equipped with a queen sized bed and a built in closet. Right next to the bedrooms is the bathroom which features a shower.
The guests can access the surroundings of the house, which include the garden/grill house (with a kitchenette), the infinity pool with a whirlpool corner and the loungers, parking space and the garage. The garage can be used by the guests to store certain things like motorcycles, bicycles, inflatable sea equipment (matress, boat etc.) and so on.
The guests have their privacy, but one of us is always at their disposal, should they need anything.
Numerous parks and places with untouched nature can be found nearby. National parks, with rich flora and fauna, and rivers with crystal clear water, river Zrmanja for example, ideal for rafting is located around cca. 15 km from the house. The spectacular mountain range of Velebit, protected by the National park 'Paklenica' (cca.km) offers beautiful hiking, jogging and cycling trails (over 200km long), as well as numerous places for rock climbing and bungee jumping. This relatively small area has an abundance of geomorphological phenomena and forms, like ‘’Manita peć’’ and ‘’Cerovačke pećine’’. You can also 'follow in the footsteps' of the movie 'Winnetou' which was filmed in Paklenica. On the other side the 89 karst islands, islets and reefs of the National park Kornati, often referred to as 'nautical paradise' can be reached with a one-day boat ride from Zadar.
The nearest bus station is located 1 km away, next to the islands church, or on the square next to the restaurant 'Viranka'. The bus line connects the island with the nearest bigger city, Zadar. The line commutes aprox. every hour.
The island also has its own taxi service.
There are also organized boat excursions departing from the island center (places bookable at the tourist info office).
The house is located in a calm neighbourhood on the outskirts of the city center. The center can be reached on foot (cca. 5 mins) and everything is pretty nearby, but without the usual hustle and bustle of a busy city center.
The nearest grocery store is cca. 1 km away. The nearest restaurant can be found in a radius of 800 meters. The beach is located right in front of the house.
